As we celebrate our nation's independence, be mindful of the extreme heat wave hitting Southern Oregon this weekend. Your health and safety are our top priorities, so here are a few tips to stay cool and safe: 🌡️ Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water, even if you don't feel thirsty. 🕶️ Seek shade: Avoid direct sunlight and take breaks in shaded or air-conditioned areas. 👕 Dress smart: Wear lightweight, light-colored, and loose-fitting clothing. ⚠️ Be aware: Symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke can include dizziness, nausea and rapid heartbeat. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable holiday!
