This is insightful. Reinforces the fact Overdraft fees need to be separated from functionality – the functionality of providing liquidity to consumers that need it is critical, while there still can be an ongoing debate about the fees. Sonetimes the month runs longer than the paycheck and this is a valuable service FI’s provide to their account holders.

SOLVE THIS One big problem I see is the ultra wealthy have denied The Law of Diminishing Returns. Fiduciary Duty has been interpreted to mean bringing the maximum capital return, and not the most benefit overall. This means the company is beholden ONLY to shareholders. When profits no longer increase the next step in denial is to skew markets by paying off politicians to deprive competition. This in turn pushes The Marketplace of Ideas towards more rights for the rich as the workers lose benefits and raises and training and promotions. That money is the OWNER'S money in our society and is not considered a shared benefit created by the millions of workers in our nation. P.S. Do people lose their profession?  It could be very lucrative to be the creator of the weaponry.
