We're developing an autonomous launch procedure that enables a two person crew to launch large teams of USVs in rapid succession - less than one minute per boat. Once the "Launch" play is sent from HavocControl to the team, the shore crew simply presses a button to launch each Rampage. I am excited to publicly announce a recent investment out of Scout Ventures Fund IV into Xponent Power. Xponent has built a very durable solar awning that has a strong dual-use application, in particular across the United States Department of Defense, with mobile kitchens, mobile command posts, etc. On the commercial side, their first market (a huge one) is within the RV industry, with a clear demand signal to enable increased ability to truly boondock with sufficient power capabilities. What is even more exciting is on the personal front. The CEO of Xponent Power is the former Co-Founder & CEO of FTC Solar, Tony Etnyre. More importantly he is a fellow United States Military Academy at West Point graduate - albeit a few years ahead of me. Back in 2018 when I transitioned from the Army and moved to the Austin, TX area, Tony responded back to a cold reach out on this platform and took time to meet for coffee. As we walked out of the that coffee, Tony proactively committed to having coffee to mentor me every month going forward - and followed through with his commitment. Fast forward about 18-months, I ended up joining this early stage start-up, FTC Solar, and was able to play a large role in their initial public offering (IPO) in 2021.
