Rioters wanted: we’re looking for humble, but ambitious, razor-sharp pros who take play seriously.

About us

Since 2006, Riot Games has stayed committed to changing the way video games are developed, published, and supported for players. From our first title, League of Legends, to 2020’s VALORANT; we have strived to evolve the community with growth in Esports, and expansion from games into entertainment. Players are the foundation of Riot's community and because of them, we’re able to reach new heights. Founded by Brandon Beck and Marc Merrill, Riot is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, and has 4,500+ Rioters in 20+ offices worldwide. Riot has been featured on numerous lists including Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” “25 Best Companies to Work in Technology,” “100 Best Workplaces for Millennials,” and “50 Best Workplaces for Flexibility.” Riot Games recruiters will never ask for money or request sensitive information, and they'll always reach out from an @riotgames.com email address. Enter through Silco’s hideout in the depths of Zaun, climb through the undercity past dedicated VO and sound recording rooms, grab a drink (coffee) at The Last Drop, and emerge in Piltover just in time to have a bite at the Mainspring Crescent Cafe before logging in for an ARAM at the Hextech Game Room. This office is Arcane from top to bottom as a reminder of the work it takes to make something worthy of players' time and how rich storytelling can literally bring our games to life.

Featuring Arcane-themed treats like Ambessa’s Red Velvet Cookies and Blue Hair Girl Gallettes, our annual charity bake sale raised over $18,000 for The People Concern, a local LA nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals in need of housing and support - a cause we've been championing for over a decade now. Rioters also contribute their time and have used it to serve over 500,000 meals to folks in need. Over the years, Riot’s donations have helped The People Concern support over 16,000 individuals across LA county.

Last week Rioters traveled to Houston for AFROTECH, getting the chance to network with over 1,000 attendees who came through our Arcane-themed booth to learn about life at Riot. Our very own J. Nicole Dove led a discussion about high-risk cybersecurity in gaming while Shireen Kuykendoll led a panel that gave post-grads tips for success while navigating the transition from academia to the professional world. After hours, we held a game night where Riot’s Seth Smith provided the tunes while attendees went head-to-head with Rioters in everything from card games to VALORANT matches. To those who came by the booth - thank you. And if you missed us this year, we hope to catch you at the next one!

For over a decade, we’ve held internal Rumble tournaments so we can settle once and for all who the best top laner in the company is. Winners receive bragging rights and custom Rumble varsity jackets - similar to what you’d get at The Masters, just very slightly less prestigious.

Between Arcane, Worlds, TFT set 13, and plenty more, we’ve been pretty busy. But that didn’t stop hundreds of Rioters from signing up to compete in our annual Rumble events. Rumble, our name for internal tournaments that pit Rioters vs. Rioters, provides competition, camaraderie, and a potentially endless source of bragging rights. No matter how busy we get, we’re always going to make space for some friendly competition. Here’s how Rumble has evolved over the years and why we do it: https://riot.com/3YYwlKX
