We’re beyond excited to share that Project Invent has been awarded a $5,000 STEM Action Grant from the Society for Science! 🎉 This grant will help us continue to grow our work in Houston, with a special focus on empowering students at Chinquapin Preparatory School, an incredible school serving under-resourced students in Harris County. 🌎 ✨ Their education is fully supported by scholarships covering 97-100% of the costs. Through our partnership, we’re not just teaching STEM—we’re empowering the next generation of STEM leaders, breaking down barriers, and bridging the gap between Houston’s innovation district and the communities that need it most. 💡 Thank you to the Society for Science for making this all possible! Empowering change through innovation! 🌟 Students from Sacred Heart in NYC, partnered with Lifeway Network, a nonprofit that provides safe housing for survivors of human trafficking, to tackle trauma by addressing stress and the stigma around mental health. Their creation, the Peaceful Pulse bracelet, relieves stress and anxiety by targeting the vagus nerve, helping to break barriers and foster healing. 🧠 ✨ We're beyond proud as this student team was honored with the Moonshot Award at Demo Day X Virtual for their groundbreaking vision.
